Meet Todd Noblitt
Todd Noblitt is a Republican candidate for the Georgia State Senate. The 53rd District primary election occurs on May 19, 2020. Todd grew up in the Fairview community of Rossville, Georgia, and currently resides with his wife Cheri in Chickamauga, Georgia. They are a blended family with four children and four grandchildren. He and Cheri are members of Immanuel Baptist Church in Rossville, Georgia. Todd graduated with the last class of Rossville High School and went on to earn an Associates Degree in General Studies from Dalton College, before completing his Bachelors Degree in Ministry Studies at Shorter College. He is a lifelong resident of Northwest Georgia, and has extensive knowledge of the 53rd District. This familiarity, combined with his concern for the people of the district, will create a people-focused leadership resulting in enhanced representation for the district’s citizens in our State Government.
Todd began working at Shaw Industries Plant 30 in 1993 and during his nine years of employment he worked as a lift truck operator, gate keeper and expediter. The experiences gained from working in a carpet distribution center continue to inspire appreciation and gratitude for those who work in labor intensive positions. Todd Noblitt will work diligently to assure that all members of our district are represented with equality. In 2002, he began a career as an independent insurance agent. Since 2004, Noblitt, Goss & Associates Insurance Services under Todd’s leadership has helped a diverse group of clients manage their risks. This experience working with people from all walks of life, combined with the critical thinking skills gained from operating a small business, has helped to prepare Todd for the challenges of representing a vast number of people. He may not immediately have an answer, but he has the skill set to research and gain the necessary information to produce effective results. Also, he understands the challenges facing small businesses and will work to promote healthy growth in our perpetually changing environment.
Todd is thankful for opportunities to serve in leadership positions including the following: past President of Chattanooga Valley Firemen’s Club, Awana Commander at Oakwood Baptist Church, Chairman of the Mission Committee at Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church and coach of several recreational baseball, basketball and football teams. Travel is his favorite pastime, and he has been to forty states and four continents. Ask him about Hawaii!
As a lifelong resident of the 53rd district he is committed to preserving and enhancing the quality of life for the people of Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade and Walker counties by representing the constituents with leadership that encourages citizens to work together to ensure that District 53 continues to be a great place to live.
